HY-CAN One - Authorised Incoming Calls

What is it?

This option allows you to set and change the telephone numbers whitelist stored on the panel. You can set each phone number to act differently, as well as set up automatic call rejection and triggering of relays.

Adding Authorised Users

To add a new authorised user, select Authorised Incoming Calls. From here, click the green ADD AUTHORISED button at the bottom of the screen. On the next page, enter the phone number and name of the person you would like to add. Select how you would like the panel to function when it is called – there are three options:

  • Authorise only: This option adds the number to the whitelist but does not automatically trigger any relays. To operate the panel the user must press the access tone command (# to pulse for example).
  • Reject Call and Trigger Relays: This option adds the number to the whitelist, and when the panel is called, the call is rejected, and the selected relays are triggered. Each whitelisted number may operate different relays if required.
  • Answer (Delay) or Trigger Relays: This option adds the number to the whitelist along with the answer delay in seconds. If these numbers call the panel, the caller may choose to end the call before the delay time finishes, in which case the selected relays will be triggered. However, if the caller needs to use other functions (latching commands for example), the caller may wait until the panel answers the call once the delay time has been reached. Once answered they can issue their access tone commands as usual.

If option 2 or 3 are selected, you will be presented with some more options:

  • Answer delay in secs (only shown when option 3 is selected): Enter the time in seconds you wish for the panel to ring before answering. If the call is ended while ringing the relays will be triggered.
  • Relay 1A/1B/2A/2B: Select the relay operations you wish to be triggered when the panel is called.

You can also apply a time period to this number to restrict it from operating the panel to certain times. To do this, select all appropriate time profiles.
